I came here because I would like to start playing 40k. I have no army, rule book, or anything. Super noob. I've played all the video games, read a ton of lore stuff, and watched as many games as i can find on youtube. My problem is, i don't know anyone that plays. If there are any groups that are looking for new people or could recommend a store I should check out, it would be awesome. I am in the Bativia area.

I've also played a ton of magic, but never really had a standard deck, just casual stuff.

Depending on where you are in Bativia, there are two stores that play 40K pretty close to you

The Art of War is in Anderson Twp, on Beechmont avenue. We play 40K almost every night, with Monday and Friday and Saturday being are more "common" days for warhammer 40,000. Saturdays are also Warhammer Fantasy if you're interested in that as well.

Also, there is East Side Games on 28. I honestly don't know when they play 40K, but I think Sean and his boys are there every Friday night, so I assume they play 40K then.

40k at EGC is dependent on when people can play, but if there is a certain time you want to play, and it's not at AoW on their normal days, you can always post in the Make A Date! section with where you're wanting to play and when you have available, and you should get some responses.

A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. Over one and a half centuries later, the PHR has emerged from the shadows as an unrecognisable civilisation, its people irrevocably changed. They are no longer simple human beings, they are post-humans - cyborgs.

Hello and Welcome to CAG!

I Recommend either store as mentioned before from Kain And Joe and encourage play at both stores. Art of War really has their stuff together and has a very appealing store with knowledgable staff and some of the areas most beautiful terrain as well as awesome paintstations.

EGC is fun to play at and has many tables to play on with a fair amount of terrrain, I live a block from EGC so its easy for me to get to and I consider it my second home.

I will be at EGC tonight playing Bloodbowl (Warhammer Football), teaching Fantasy and maybe a game of 40K...

If you stop in just ask for Makari or Sean I answer to both (plus there are about 8 Sean's or varients therof on big mini nights.)

Kain is good at teaching 40k and Fantasy, he plays the tough guy sometimes but he really is a nice guy Cool. If Kain isn't there a slew of others with comperable knowledge will be so you won't be without help.

Good luck on your endevours into 40K and I hoope to see you soon!

The footprints made in the sands of time are not made by sitting down... Unless your playing Warhammer WAAAGH!

New times calls for new Records:
Orcs & goblins (3-1-2)
Empire (0-0-0)
6th Edition
Orks (0-0)
Marines (3-1)
Imperial Guard (0-0)
