Attacker 2000 A.P. for both sides,NO,reinforcements needed.All IN.

Primary Objectives
Eliminate an infantry unit,2 V.P.
Eliminate A.F.V. 1,V.P.
Eliminate an Officer or Overseer 1.V.P.

Rounds 6.

Bring Containers any space terrain works,NO Grassy Hills,Please.This is the surface of Damocles.Lots of terrain recommended for this one.

All Army List allowed from rulebook,and Armybooks only,no CH14,15,Rules allowed.

We doing this semi early??? I say we go about noon till whenever.....I want to get a few games in.....

You must have the day to game.I can try,but maybe not so early,I would like to check with Kadden,cause he is into the game to.

Not that Im for it,but if Kadden wanted to join in 3 way battles are pretty coll to,just need to be set up a little differently.

If Kadden isint playing Thursday night,I could probly start early.

3-WAY battles somtime have a tendecy to gang up on one side,but since he is of the Therian Race,and Im Red Blok,and ur UNA,it could prove to be pretty fun.

CJ,do you have any space terrain,like 40 K terrain,this terrain works nicly with this game,just all blown out buildings and others for 40 K,need to have special rules for cover and no cover ,it needs a size,if you will.

I would like to try lots of terrain for a change,We always use the same stuff thats laid out in specific missions.I would never use paper OD map,for these kind of shoot um up missions,its to crammed.

I work until 4:30 but we can do whatever that night. Im up for whatever

Sig....all my terrain is at Sci-fi.....as for time....I just mentioned this to play a few other games to practice with to help me out better. Thursday's I'm good until at least 7 or so.

Ya,I can get ther early,never sat around and played all day,sounds like fun.

awesome on the terrain,We are beggin Rackham to make specific terrain to the fluff,and if they do,not only will this be the best tabletop game ever,but the terrain will be a part of greatness to.

Build a coulple different list one at 2000,one at 1500/500 for a attacker position,and one at 1000/1000,for a defender list,get used to the splits,its a great way to play,for reinforcements,and fun,with drop points and such.

Remember deployment zones,can only be used in first round,reinforcments enter via drop point or other acess,which are none with defender positions.

Build list not that look good,but that will work the best for the rulebook missions,and we will flip for mission after the first Seek and Destroy mission.Thats where the metal meets the meat.

If we are playing several missions,I will give you a little taste of the Therians violence,but I will leave the worst up to Kadden to surprise the UNA.I need the practice with the Red Blok.

I really think the Red Blok is hear for the next Campaign,which is not here yet,but I believe it will be cold weather ,moutain style terrain,with many negetives for the Therians and UNA..The fluff is reading for cold weather warfare for the Karmens and Red Blok.

Collin Kelly made a statement in a post a while back,and it said indirectly,to get your forces ready for cold weather fighting,but he said it indescetly,so time will only tell.My Red Blok will be gettin a total makeover in white winter gray and black cammo very soon.

I agree with Matt....very similar. Instead of tapping Mana...your tapping hero's

Plus you have "land" it's just any card from the deck, which is a sweet mechanic, no more dedicated a third or so of your deck to lands. Plus you have the quest cards.

Pretty sweet game, just didn't have another card game in me after MtG.

I do have a few decks + the Onyxia raid set though.

but be careful....he'll slam your mechanics if you don't play right....

Mission One,SEEK AND DESTROY


4X4 Playing table,w/12 inch "Deployment zone",all units may act nomally when deployed in first round. NO acess zones.

Each player will layout terrain one at a time,Please bring as many containers and Low walls as possible,And Playable OD paper maps.No grassy hills allowed,but 40 K terrain is much welcomed.

During first round during activation,we will use 3 drop points laid out by each player during the terrain phase,and only if controlled,(see rules),you may bring units through via Drop Points in first round,if you wish to.Drop Points(see rules).

The advanced rules we are using for controll and via drop points are added to first round.The normal rules only allow drop points during second round and reinforcments.We are advancing these rules a little for the larger style game,There will be 6000 points on the board.Drop points will speed the advance deployments up and activations as well.

so how do the points break down so I know how many points to field? Is this a 3k list?

Standard 2000 A.P. Game,All In,first round.
Dont let the Drop Points confuse you,When we are placing terrain,We will place a drop point each,wherever we please,Remember,Drop Points that you place,will need to benifit your own self(units).First thing to think about when placing Drop Point in this game,You need to be able to reach it with your first round activation.If you place the drop point farther than your unit can reach,your out of luck.I dont want to give away to many Tactics here.Just remember,Control,number of fighters within 10cm of drop point.

Any fighter can use these drop points.The drop points in this game is really only there to get units to desired place on board faster.EXAMPLE.Therians could place a drop point at 50cm away and if he can control the D.P.,He could be where he needs to be in a matter of the first round.
This Drop point is only added by myself.Its not in the mission details,but it will make this mission more interesting for all.Remember,if you choose to not use D.P.,thats your perogetive.
No Pre-Measuring Allowed..Drop Point rules do apply.

Ive got my Therians all fired up,and the Red Blok.I figure Ill Show the world of AT-43,why not to mess with the Therians,and ther planet.

Sorry CJ,Wont be able to bring any UNA forces untill SAT.at the earlest.
As far as being there between 12:00 and 1:00,Thats a bit to early for me,but later on in the afternoon,will be more my speed.The kids had ther last day of school today for this year,and we need to clean this house!!

sounds good either way....I'll actually have cash for everything then on Sat as well....we can meet up on my way home from work again like we did before. We will talk more tomorrow.
