I got to assemble this over the weekend and figured I'd post some thoughts about the kit.

This is what it looks like assembled:

It took approximately 3.5 - 4 hours to clip, clean and assemble. I need to go through and fill in some gaps, as on the sides, especially in the rocks, there are some pretty big ones.

Overall, though, it was a fun kit to assemble! I left the dome unattached, as I will leave it to where I can put that on it, or the portion that makes it just a regular tower. Once I get the gaps greenstuffed, I am going to add some bits, like the cage for prisoners from the Giant Warhammer kit with maybe the skeleton in it for example. Weird thing is, it came with a bunch of Imperial crosses, but I can't figure out where they go specifically. I may just leave them off.

If you like the look and feel of the scenery kits for WFB, you'll like this one Smile I can't wait to start painting it!

Nice looking kit!

I was pretty happy with the imperial ruins they released for 40K a while back. They do good stuff, even if it is a bit pricey!

So, painting so far has been fun! I've got the observatory part done, and last night worked on the stonework and wood around the tower. I still haven't decided how I want to paint the actual buildings, so they are still black.... Sorry about the bad photos (were taken with my phone).

Nicely done lens. Interesting to see the model from that angle, most shots are from the front, this allows me to see some of the boards on the walkway.
