40K Tourney in August

More details to follow but wanted to get the word out now.

Martial Law will be hosting a 40k Tourney at the Bookery in late August, tentative date is 8/18.

Well I guess this will be a tournament for all of us who can't go to GenCon. It's good to have choices!

Was just on Dakka and there is a thread indicating that there are no 40k tournament events on the schedule. Can anyone confirm this?

I have not seen any GW events in the four years I've been going to GenCon. Privateer Press' Warmachine and Hordes pretty much dominates the war gaming scene.

Found this on Dakka, no tournament but looks like GW will be at GenCon after all.

Hmm after looking at the map, GW is in 1743....the warstore...is in 1733...literally right next to GW. Seems a little odd...cant imagine GW will be selling anything at gen con other then maybe a show only fig?
