So I set out to make a 2500 point list and ended up a bit shy. Ill list out what units I have first then my list. I’m waiting to convert my plague monks to slaves.

not 100% happy with the results guess I could knock off the rat gun in the storm vermin or swap the doom wheel for another warp lighting cannon for a 2k list. Or stick a screaming bell on it for a 2250 list. so thoughts?

You have to be careful running too many ratling guns, they only move or fire where a poisoned wind mortar for example can move and fire. I'm not a huge fan of stormvermin because while they are a definite upgrade on clanrats most times it doesn't justify the cost and they get spell targeted much faster. Doomwheels are always awesome and I love running those, usually in pairs. The warp lightning cannons, like many skaven heavy weapons, are a mixed bag but for the price are hard to beat. I personally prefer Hell Pit Abominations because they soak up huge amounts of firepower. I've never fielded enough jezzails to matter, I only own 3, so I wouldn't say anything about them. I've never used the poisoned wind globadiers either, I have 18 censer bearers instead when running that way, but I would imagine they function fine. Slaves are always fun and with slings they are just wonderful. In the future you may want to consider rat swarms instead of giant rats. While the swarm doesn't hit hard it is a great way to bog down units you need to stall out so they dont hit troops you care about. Hope this helps and if you are playing today I'll be there with a skaven army.

The gaint rats were just stuff I made from left overs, so I could maybe switch them over to rat swarms. I was more of going for a shooty skaven idea never got to find out if it was a feasabile idea. Not a fan of Clan Pestilen units. Ill look into a Hell Pit Abomination that is a good idea they do look interesting. The main point of this army was to have a start based on what units I already have then buy more stuff from there. Thanks for the ideas.

Any time but the plague monks can be quite good and though the furnace doesnt get a ward save you get an unbreakable unit that is exceedingly nasty if it gets into a close combat fight. If you want to get really shooty you could run slaves in a 10x4 or 5 horde unit and give them all slings... it's a lot of shooting S3 shots not accurate but a lot of dice thrown. If you use an HPA once you'll be a fan, I have 2 myself and use at least one almost anytime I play Skaven even if the list is as low as 1k points.

was very happy how my list didnt in a 2k battle(except for the blowing themselves up part of course) just needed to change a few things and bump it up to 2500. Ran out of space for my jezzails so had to cut them down some.

Looks like a lot of fun. I'm not a huge fan of stormvermin but they have their uses. Gutter runners can be very good as well.

ok latest version gave in to adding plague priests/monks to the army. 2 games and the warp cannons did pretty much nothing so they are out of this version.

The only thing that looks off at a glance so to speak is it looks like a mishmash of units not designed to work together. You have 2 plague priests and 25 plague monks, although you could hide a priest in a clanrat tray I suppose. The jezzails seem like an add on that really isnt that necessary and trimming 20 points further would let you run the catapult which is good at taking out ardinary troops. You also have a lot of slaves which will prevent you from putting in some hitters. They can tarpit people nicely but unless you can slam someone in the flank with something useful the points are probably a waste. Just some thoughts more than anything else.
