| Anybody have any idea where these guys came from? I know that they are similar to the Black Templars in that they don't have a Fortress Monestary, but a Fleet with a semi-Fortressy flagship, they themselves (except maybe the Chapter Master) have very little idea as to where they came from, they have an exceptionally high number of Librarians (including an elite squad of uber-librarians), and have been investigated by the =][= more than once. Could they have come from one of the lost primarchs? | |

| hmm, perhaps. I had never thought of that as a possibility. Certainly a possibility. Doubt GW would ever confirm something like that though.
Any hints in the DoW books/games? | |

| Nothing. But I've been snooping around on different forums and from what people are saying, they came from the Thousand Suns from before the Horus Heresy. | |

| In the SM codex they have the traits See, But Don't be Seen, and Trust Your Battle Brothers with the Disadvantage Flesh Over Steel. If it weren't for that disadvantage I would have played them. Geneseed is, like I found before, some run-off of the 1K Sons seed, but "pure". | |

| Run 'em anyway, so many SM players just take disadvantage traits that means nothing. Time for that to change! | |

| Yeah, the SM traits are screwed up. Still like the Guard Doctrines though. | |
