Looking for a side project

Are there any active players for skirmish level table top games going on? Like, Mercs, or Malifaux, or something similar? I love my 40k, but I wouldn't mind a smaller scale game as a side project, something that doesn't require me to buy too many models.

Any suggestions?

There was talk of starting up a Blood Bowl league at the GW shop, but I'm not sure how much momentum that has.

There is a large grpup of Malifaux players at EGC and AOW

at AOW weve taken a bit of a break, becaus of the new Star Wars Releases (RPG< XWING & LCG)
but by the time school is out... we'll be playing again

in the mean time.... XWING is a great small scale ($100-200 investment) game that plays in under an hour
there is an active league at Art of War on monday nights starting at 5pm and playing until midnight
