New to Cincinnati

Hello.

Just relocated to Cincinnati from San Diego and looking for fellow geeks.

Looking mostly for Warhammer Fantasy games but I do have a 40K army as well. I am just not as comfortable with the 40k rule set as I am with WFB.

Thinking about getting back into D&D as well, so if there is a group out there looking for another player I would like to talk with you.

Looking forward to meeting some new gamers.

I play Fantasy. Do you have any time next Saturday (17th) in the evening?

I can usually get away after 6 PM if you'd like to play a game.

I am in New Town. So not far from AoW or Eastside.

I should be able to do a Sat/Sun afternoon game but weekend evenings are a litle harder to swing. Usally have plans.

Weekday evenings are better than weekend does that work for you?

Unfortunately, I typically only get out on Saturday nights.

I am not saying that a Sat night is 100% out of the question, just have to clear it with the wife.

Since we are both new to the area I don't want to leave her sitting home with nothing to do on a weekend night, and no she would not enjoy spending her Saturday night watching a game of Warhammer.  

I will let you know. Really want to try out that new Lizardman Book.

Thursday is typically the Wharhammer (40K) night at AOW but there are no shortage of players any day of the week

as far as RPG,
AOW is also playing PATHFINDER "society" every Sunday afternoon and new players are ALWAYS welcome!

Welcome aboard!

Hey man welcome to Cincinnati! Greatest Queen City in all of Ohio!

Every Saturday is Warhammer Fantasy day at Art of War over on the East side of town. Games normally crank up around 2 and go all evening. We normally bring on 2500 points but it's very easy to scale depending on what you're comfortable with.

Except for this Saturday...since it's gencon weekend most of the dudes will be out.


What armies do you run?

I have Lizardmen and Daemons.

Just picked up the new LM book so looking for a game this Saturday that I can try out a build or 2.

Hope no one minds if I proxy a couple things while I figure out where to spend my $$$.

Na man we don't mind too much with proxying just as long as it makes sense somewhat!

We'll be up at the store chilling and playing games. It's someone's (mine) birthday this weekend so it'll be a good time for sure!

I am free on Wednesday and Thursday evenings to play either WFB or 40K if anyone looking for a game this week or next.

If you wanna start around 330 ish at EGC wednesday I can do that which ever game you wanna play...

I want to say "yes I can make that" but it has to be with the caveat that I work with a team on the West Coast and sometimes life gets in the way. After 5 or even 6 is a more realistic start time for me, but will try to make a 330 start happen.

I'll be there all night wednesday but with it being boardgame night its kinda hard to pass up some good ol board games...
