There has been several new players express interest in learning and playing 40K. This is a friendly format to help newer players.

$10 entry fee for prize support. This is a non-competitive format. Pairings determined by tournament organizer and not necessarily by standings.

Players are encouraged to play fun or themed lists or just the models they own. Players are discouraged from bringing soul crushing lists, death stars, ridiculous spam, or internet lists.

Yes, some do enjoy crushing souls and driving players away from the game.

We are only running 1250 points for this one. Some newer players are short the typical 1850.

You can try a Highlander list, but its not required.

No FW for this one. Check the rules PDF.Friendly format to help new players. BRB and Codices are enough IMHO for a newer player to consume. Adding FW is that much more. In the past FW has been permitted and will be for future events.

Hey, Max I'm going to be able to go to the tourney at the hobby shop on the 13th. I was wondering what part of town you live in. I'm near Loveland and the hobby shop is just south of Dayton. I'd like to give you a lift but I'll admit I don't want to turn the day into hours of driving.
