Rumors: Powerfists can only gain the +1 attack bonus for having a second close combat weapon if that weapon is another powerfist-equivalent item (eg thunder hammer, powerclaw). Matt check the special weapons rules in your 5th precopy to see if this is true.

This would really make you cry? Taking 1 attack away from powerfist guys? Come on, you have to know that they are overpowered. No one takes anything but the fist in a competitive list.

Yeah, the vet sargeant powerfist is the number one option for marine armies so it needs some toning down. Removing an attack and making the fist easier to kill due to the new wound assignment rules does a pretty good job I think. I mean, you don't want to make them suck, they're still powerfists, they should still be good, just not as good.
