tournament

So are tournamnets not held too often in cincinnati?
I really want to play in some tourneys. So someone needs to get them put together :-)

So who can hostem? If there are issues with terrain i have plenty and I'm sure others can pitch in. If the issue is space that shouldn't be too hard to find a hosting place.

Any suggestions. And I wanna play not host.

Ard Boys was the last Tourny hosted down here. I am working on the possability of putting one together. It's getting local support to help is the key. It would be a 2k type tourny. Missions are mission previoulsy used in other tounamnets...and a couple that I designed and have not told anyone about....mwhahahhahahaha

Ard boys is returning this year(says right on the news section of gamersowrkshop) as long as one of the stores signs up it will be back here

I've been talking to Eric about getting a 1750 competitive style tournament going in the Spring. Shouldn't be too difficult.

If I get that going and CJ gets a looser 2K+ tournament going (ala 'Ard Boyz) we should be in good shape to have 2 days in the spring.

sounds fun but sometimes people miss the date... we need a good way of getting the word out

The fourm works great for the lot of us......

but it would be good to get alot of outsiders to join too.

We would have to leave a sign up at were ever the game is being held would be best, with as much notice as possible

Some tournaments defiantley sound fun. If you are worried about turn out you can always have GW run an article in White Dwarf and/or post it on there sight.

well the only reason i am not spelling everything wrong is because macs are awesome and give you spell check on the internet

your I is spelled wrong.....as for the posters best way to do that would be to have a simple image of whatever game(40k Im guessing) so a space marines or something most people think of when they think 40k
