sounds fun but we don't want to go overboard on the missions. nothing too crazy

I think that in a 1750 pt. game that most people enjoy take and hold missions... not just meat grinders... i also enjoy assassinations

It has been awhile but to get tournaments listed in White Dwarf required something like a 90 pre-notice. That may have changed by now.

I bet it;s worse if anything now Bob.

Not to worry, word of mouth with this group will be good. Posting on other boards + putting fliers in others stores should work.

The Light Side

The Dark Side

And...

The CJ Side

Sorry, couldn't resist. Smile

small? ok that sounds good. we don't want to create a huge project here. how about we get 5 to 7 tables set up each with there own special terrain. Some with a little and some with a lot.

not a good idea for a tournament. Better to balance the board.

Much more simple to copy the way GW does their board for GT's (minus the lava boards Smile)

They keep it pretty sparse, but normally fair for both deployment zones.

only thing you kids need to worry about is your army. What your looking to do, as well as what it can do in various ways. Can it compete in night fighting? What about a no heavies rule? Missions are great this way. It will keep it guessing.

And thanks Nate...love the CJ side of the Force.

Hey Crow, you will figure out were he's going with this when we meet....LOL

Well that is a bit extreme. One rule that could come up though is Escalation. Escalation can ruin your day sometimes.

That really threw everyone off. Didn't they deploy that way for all of those missions?
