| Yup, possibly a model release. I have heard rumblings of a data sheet for it. | |

| Yeah. It's ten times larger, but luckily everything dies ten times as fast.
I've heard from people playing demo games (Greg and Ryan) that a game will last around the same time (maybe a little longer) that a regular game does.

| Everyone will need their own servitor to remove models from the board. So I guess Marc is set, he's got a whole posse of potential model removers. | |

| Haha, so we are planning a 6k on 6k Necron vs. Tyranid game.
That is a lot of models. Including 6 monoliths.
I can't even imagine how many Genestealers are going to be on the board. *shudder*

| Do either Necrons or Nids have super-heavies coming out? Cause those could be decent point sinks right there. Nids could always use the "make your own biotitan" rules that they have out there. I feel like even a wall of stealers will have a hard time wading through a wall of gauss fire and constant monolith barrage. | |

| Their are rules in Apoc for the Nid superheavies already out there. Pitty they are uber expensive forgeworld models though.
We already have enough for 6k a side though.
Nid armies available Dan, Marc, Cj, Greg
Necron armies available Me, CJ, Greg
I was saying to CJ that although the necrons will be tough, nids will have far more diversity. In my opinion the sheer number of nids on the board combined with the fact that its objective based (no VP's in Apoc) will make it a hard game for both forces.
Seriously, even one Hive Tyrant in our midst would wreak insane amounts of destruction.

| Why do I have this rep? Seriously... I blame Chad for spreading rumors about me, he always was jealous.
Doubt it will need to stay our overnight though. One full day of gaming should be good. At PAX I played for a while in a 36k vs 36k game on a 16 ft long table. It didn't even use Apocalypse rules. The game lasted about 9 hours.

| Haven't seen any confirmation if they are getting rules or not though. I imagine they will be, but no one knows yet.
A game at that level of points with apocalypse rules would run a lot quick than 9 hours. From what I have heard.
9 hours for that many points is FAST with regular 40k rules.
