Wow, Patties taping since 2000

Apparently, Bilichek has been taping other teams defensive signals since he started as a coach in 2000! Wow.

Oh damn someone got caught...
Thats like saying we are surprised when a politician gets caught in a scandal! not saying all coaches did it to that extent but each team has people combing over tons of tape for those signals.
They just got caught.

Oh btw I'm not a Pats fan I'm a Jets fan so don't think I'm for the Pats but be fair they were the only ones that got caught... so far.

That's probably true, makari, but I don't think that excuses them at all. I mean, the NFL is supposed to be a place of sportsmanship (by their own admission), and here the Patriots are, saying "Oh, we werent' supposed to do this?" When the commissioner has said that they are specifically told not to do it. If they are caught doing it, they need to be punished over it (and I mean more than 1 draft pick and a piddly sum of money)... Same as any other team that would get caught doing it. I don't know, I've always felt that sports should be an even playing field, any unfair advantage should be taken out of the game... That's just my opinion... Just thought I would bring it up though to see other's thoughts on it...

Oh i think they should have been punished more, they are wrong. And what the commisoner did by destroying the evidnece is very seedy!!!
So I just want a larger investigation against the rest of the league.
heavier fines.
Its similiar to teh case of Mike Vick. He is not the only NFL player to be a part of dog fighting. They should have continued investigating other players especially when others admit to dogfighting on air. aka Clinton Portis.
And are we really surprised by what football players get away with?
In college they get away with a lot of things. it continues in the NFL, now things are somewhat better. but we have several people in the NFL thatcommit crimes over and over and they get slapped on the wrist even when they killed people.
