- Hi guys,
Scuttlebutt from the tubes says the rumored 5th Edition "Battle for Rynn's World" boxed set may contain the following plastic minis:
Marines
* Captain with powerfist * Tactical Squad * Terminator Squad (possibly "just a couple" instead of a full squad) * Dreadnought (only 2 pieces!?!)
~Some or all of the models have been hinted at having Ultramarines iconography
Orks:
* Warboss * Twenty Ork boyz (like the four man Ork boys set) * Twenty Grotz * Three Deff Koptas
~ Two things guys;
1) Returning the basic boxed set to Marines vs Orks makes the universe seem right.
2) Plastic Dreadnought, Warboss, Deffcoptas! Holy Moly!!! Kind of defeats the Rynn's World rumor if they have UM iconography doesn't it? Shame that would have been cool. The fact that it is all plastic is pretty exciting, here's to hoping that the poses are good. I think these boxes (this and the current BoM) are a good move for GW, now that pre-painted plastic is picking up steam... at least this is a bit more accessible than the regular plastics and metals

| When have the poses ever been good for 2 piece plastics? | |

| Yeah, but they are cheaper normally, plus easier for beginners. | |

| Very true. I think the only multi-plastic figs that I can remember coming from a starter set are the Dark Eldar from 3rd. | |

| and the marines in 3rd, then they switched over to the beginner style edition boxes with BoM.
Good move in my opinion.
