OK so we are almost positive skimmers will get the nerf. They won't be terrible but might be a little worse than they are now. Thoughts?

10 Dire Avengers
Exarch w/power weapon, shimmershield, defend, bladestorm
10 Dire Avengers
Exarch w/power weapon, shimmershield, defend, bladestorm

2 vibrocannon batteries
1 wraithlord
missile launcher, scatter laser
1 Falcon pulse, shurikannon, shuricat
holo-fields, vectored engines, spirit stones

5 wraithguard
warlock w/conceal
5 harlequins - kisses
1 shadowseer - kiss

5 shining spears
exarch, star lance, skilled rider, withdraw

autarch
jetbike, laser lance, mandiblasters, fusion gun
Eldrad Ulthran

basically we get a solid core of eldrad w/5 wraithguard and wraithlord walking up the battlefield with 20 tar-pit, bladestormin avengers in front of them flanked by a devastating vibrocannon unit and a couple of really strong CC units ready to deploy wherever needed or take out an enemy HQ or snipers.

Well, we have the book... and reading through it, even though skimmers do get a nerf they are still powerful... especially eldar skimmers (damn 2d6 on the damage chart).

So I would still consider them if i was you.

This list looks alright, but with troops only scoring you could be out of scoring units pretty quickly.

Your plan sounds solid but you are taking a great many mobile eldar units and sticking them in a very stiff formation. Matt is the resident tactical expert [I am? - Matt] so he may have something to say against my comments, but i believe you are really limiting yourself.

The vibro cannons can be easily avoided
- that being said you are very short in the AT department
5 Harlies are not going to be enough to level any decent target unless you attack on the same charge with the shining spears which is tacticaly awkwerd(speaking on both of these from experience)
The wraithguard there are just not enough of. even running they can be picked off before they get to any worthwhile target.
I love DireAvengers but without a transport they are really vulnerable to most blast weapons especialy do to the lack of any other viable target.(again experience)
