| Ten man Immortal squads are the way to go. Expensive but important under the current rules.
What is the plan for the Necron Lord? The Res Orbs biggest effect would be inside the middle of a warrior squad or sandwiched between a couple of them. Destroyers and Immortals generally don't need the evil green pokemon ball.

| Seeing as I know you know your shit with Necrons, I know you know how to play that list.
Necron lists start to get "cookie cutter" really fast don't they?
Nasty list though, will give just about anyone a headache.

| Plan is to castle the 4 warrior squads around the the lord with either the monolith in front to push people around or behind ready to port out of combat. The lord can also handle 5 man termie squads or anything small to make into my lines.
Yea Matt the list do tend to get "cookie cutter". There are other list that do well, but this one complements my style of play. I dont really like multiple monoliths and C'tans are easly avoided.

| Besides Necron gods and too many Monoliths eat into that phase-out number.
I could see how those Destroyers could get things ugly for most foes. Do you treat them as an assault/flanking unit or support while the warriors assault? If I was facing them Destroyers are where my ordinance would go if I thought enough fire could be leveled to get around their We'll-Be-Back.
Aside do you have three Monoliths? Actually two to five, but it takes three to start with the real fun. It would be shame not to see one of those hideous Monolith Phalanx units.

| The destroyers are there for things like jump infantry that can hide then jump out and assault. I plan on them harrassing(sp?) the enemy flanks and backfields. I have 4 Monoliths. I played the Phalanx in one apoc game and I thought it was pretty sick. 3+ WWB rolls and then the re-roll because I have 4 Liths. I can show you sometime if you want | |
