Ugh, I really don't want to have to try and kill 10 destroyers and 2 monoliths. I think this list would eviscerate your nid list. All those mobile heavy bolters are rough.

I'm a big fan of the Invulnerable Turbo Boosting Multiple Wound Scarabs.

Only thing I can see is no mobile Orb.

What is your phase out?

Not too bad with no mobile orb. The destroyers tend to be decent at staying out of harms way anyways.

Just make sure you don't lose them casually CJ. The destroyers are your life blood here.

The list does look pretty sick though... Can't imagine anyone having an easy time with this one.

Yeah, I'm already not pleased. Judging by the reaction of my gut, you should roll this list instead of the nids.

Agreed...

Nids are harder to run than people think. This Necron list won't be the easiest by any means... But it will be far easier than the Nids. Use the 'liths to deny points CJ (make sure they rarely die!)

I get so confused with all the rumors I read, but Necrons still have WBB right? It hasn't changed to FNP yet?

Hasn't changed yet, and won't be changing until they get their new 'dex. Which is at least after codex Orks (probably a ways after).

Phew, that's good. The eventual switch to FNP will be a huge boon to Necrons in my opinion. Since now my lascannons and missile launchers, plasma and melta can kill destroyers outright. Since only CC attacks that ignore armor are mentioned, they will gain a FNP roll against said low AP shooting attacks.

Immortals and Destroyers (T5) can WBB from any Str9 or less shooting. Just because AP 3 or better will down them, they still get WBB as the shooting is not double the Toughness.

Warriors (T4) still get WBB on S7 Plasma.

I am pretty certain that WBB is just on a 4+ after you die you stand back up (unless you were crushed by a tank, blasted by a 2X strength weapon, or struck by a power weapon). The only thing that prevents you from not getting those rolls is the Res. Orb. I hate Res. Orbs.

WBB and FNP are the exact same thing, except that WBB happens at the end of the turn and FNP happens instantly as the wound is taken. IMO FNP is better, but they both have advantages... But are fundamentally the same thing. I guess res orbs will somehow effect FNP rolls for Necrons with the new 'dex
