April Pledge

So a brand new month means a brand new set of expectations on the painting front. We each should have all sorts of inspiration as our WFB campaign and 40k tournament are upon us. So step up to the plate and let us all know whats on your "to do list"

build/base coat my whole tiny vampire counts army and work on some new ideas for my skaven(I now have one model 90% done the rest are no were close) and get all my skaven(about 40 more models) spray painted

My update is:

50 Cadian shock troopers - various states of painting (mostly not painted, though)
Cadian Command Squad - about halfway painted
3 Cadian HW teams - 2 assembled, one I need a base for
Balrog - Needs touchup, detailing, basing and sealing
20 Cadian shock troopers - A few more details to work on, basing and sealing
3 Cadian HW teams - basing, some detailing, and sealing
Lamon Russ tank - decals and sealing

Finish my 2nd Dev squad. I think I have 7 men to go.

Then finish 2 speeders.

If I am really really luck I'll get some bikes done too.

Well, as this is my first army...My goal is to paint the entire thing. I've got 1 tac squad, 1 Rhino, and 1 Tornado finished thusfar....

Quite a bit to go...

Forgive me, my pledge is to keep the campaign for fantasy, and the tourney for 40K straight. I'm gonna get the remainder of my stormboyz painted if possible...

Just a quick "where are they now" pic on the bikes. Progress.. yes, but a ways to go as everything is a simple flat (and messy at that) The white is not white and grey lining is about 10% completed. Maybe if I would win a game or two I'd be inspired

I think Im counting 9 in there. What is the point cost for that motorcyle unit? And what kind of weapons do they carry.

Thats just a quick selection of the 21 bikes I have in progress.

Well, we can't post the cost online, but the bikes have twin-linked bolters, and you can pay to have a couple of the guys also toting along extra weapons.

In the case of this pic, two of the guys have melta guns. Also the sargeant can take some extra weapons, here they have powerfists, although you could give them some different layouts.

Sigma: A 6 man unit with an Attack Bike all kitted out costs around 300-350 (no book with me:)) That would be a vet with a power fist, 2 melta gunners and then the attack bike with a multi melta or heavy bolter. Each guy has a bolt pistol and twin linked bolters too.

Yeah, Bruce, CJ does stuff (not sure what, not going to ask), but you sit and stare at your models.

I read CJ's post first, and had this to say BEFORE reading Bruce's post.

Pledges only work if you pledge specific things.

So, CJ... pledge something specific please.

Pledge to spray all grey models. And at least one squad painted to a playing standard.

I have an update (of sorts). I have all of my new IG guys at the very least primered I just now need to go through and start painting them (though, I do have a few of them already painted). I'll probably be painting some more of them tonight HOPEFULLY have a few more painted for tomorrow!
