| All the Metal Gear games controls are really complex. If you played 3 I don't think it is supposed to be any worse.
I've also been told that the ending is poor, but the game is good. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

| If you never played any of the other MGS games you really should before diving into this one (the story features heavily in these games).
There is indeed a lot of cutscenes (not cgi mind you, none of it is cgi) but they have small amounts of control that let the player involve themselves more. Such as looking through first person and so on, keeps things lively.
I can safely say this game is way better as far as the controls go, the old games controls were kind of complex (especially for a casual gamer). Not so much any more.
MGS4 is easily the best reason to own a PS3, you really are kidding yourself if you don't own it but have a PS3 sitting there.
If you need to catch up with the story-line, I hear they just did a free update that lets you read up on the story so far from the other MGS games. Either that or go buy the compilation and run it on a PS2, only costs about 30 bucks.
But yeah... excellent game. I'm going to have to stop bumming off my friends PS3 and actually go buy one for MGS4. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| | yes Matt is correct I meant to say cutscenes not CGI. and I did hear the same thing as him that it is a must have. Guess I gotta come off the cash and get it. I'm still having a blast with Drakes Fortune and COD4. The PS3 is a truly amazing machine. |

| the thing is, most of the good games for it are cross platform (to a cheaper platform with a better multiplayer service and more exclusive content for said cross platform games)
So missing out on one of the few major exclusives (and possibly best games of this generation, definitely one of the best of the games thus far) is just silly. Go buy it PS3 nubs.
I'll have mine once I get a pay check from this place _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)
