Commissar

Ok, jgemrich makes my stuff look silly, but I'll post this anyways... I bought this commissar Saturday when at Sci Fi, and got him to a tolerable look this evening Smile

I've got a bunch of detail left to do yet, so this is a WIP (like EVERYTHING else that I've painted so far). Also, please ignore the glossyness, that's just the ink reflecting and once I matte finish spray him, that won't be there.

I don't know.... looking at your Eldrad, I still think this looks rather silly. Though, like all of my minis, it does look better in person, but still.... Thanks, though, it is cool to think that someone of your skill likes my painting Smile

Looking good man.

For those gold/bronzes I find an easy way to get a nice look is to paint brown/chestnut ink (watered down like 4:1) a few times over a silver color.

Most metal paints look "globby" (for lack of a better word).
