So now that I am at the point of never touching a pot of white paint ever in me life its time for some Empire models! Better to paint up some Core troops, maybe a Cannon, possibly a Wizard to lead the bunch.. oh no sir! Lets do a model which I may never use until the 2250pt mark Laughing

Pretty straight table top with two blues, two reds, two greys, etc.. you get the idea..

Here is the mount. Cheaper with the plastic Bret model.

I'll get to the Captain on Monday Wink

I got a look at this last night (can't view photobucket at work). Very nice. I'd like to see more of the horse. Looks like a very good dapple grey.

although I'm not a huge fan of the Empire models, I am really liking the look of this so far. I can't wait to see the next steps.

Kids are on an early release today from school so my painting schedule is scrapped. I'll get back at this beastie Wednesday.

Was able to do some work on the rider today. I'm gonna have to do a 3rd blend or even 4th I believe, at least on the army centerpieces.

A little bit of work this morning but not pic worthy. Toned down the highlights with a wash of blue and red respectfully and added another blend colour. Red looks much better now.

I'll get back at it Monday as we are off to Tennesse for the holiday.
