Turn them into Blood Angel Assault Marines!

This is as far as I'm getting as what I call batch work. I'm gonna try the new GW washes on them next week. They should be here Monday afternoon so Tuesday morning I'll give them a go.

Since this is for eBay I know I'll actually finish them.

Anything to not be working on my Empire Embarassed

Just a quick shot of the helmet using the new washes (Devlan Mud)

I like the washes actually. You cant really put too much on and it dried smoothly. This particular guy has seem one too many coats of different paint.

Not sure my green eyes pop. I used Camo then Rotting.. meh.

I don't think I'll wash the red until I finish with my edge orange.

All the metals need love as well.

A layer of yellow after wash. I think I'll leave it at this for speedsake.

My little test jumper is complete. I kept him dark from the wash using the base red over it. Freehanded some markings and badges and stuffed some dead grass on the base.

We leave for Naples, FL this Friday so at least I have my ratios worked out for the other 19 Assault Marines for when I return. I think I'll turn my Jump Chaplain over to the BA cause as well.

yeah marc these look really bad ass i like how they look like they have been in some intense fighting

I did not want the shiny red/orange as the bases were rubble. I tried dusting up the helmet and legs, but meh. Other ideas were tried and retried on my guy here. I ended up with a nice, quick, dark looking model still. I'm happy, but never practice/test model up an important squad member ..doh!

Some of the freehand has been touched up but nothing to post about.

looks good Marc, I like how the red and yellow aren't bright but you can tell they were at one point, very nice
