| You know it really doesn't suprise any of us to hear you have Carpal Tunnel in BOTH wrists... see if you had just stuck to playing with the minis and not the mini you wouldn't have that issue...

Sinew, Cloth, flesh has distinct hi spots and low spots that allow for color to be placed appropriately following the volume of the space. But the flats are very difficult to shade and highlight correctly IMO b/c well, they are flat.
I also shake a little so it's tough to get a clean line at times.

Cheers for your thoughts Nancy Quite the opposite for me. I buzzed thru my Tau suits and Hammerheads much quicker then the dang blang Fire Warriors. Granted the flat areas were a 3 colour TT standard with no light source and such.. but still. You are indeed spot on in regards high/lows of sinew, etc but from a "speed point of view" the flats of his army should allow for at least 2 colours in time for the tournament. CJ (hell, everyone..) needs those points. After May 18th then you can afford to get details on those flats which bring character and allow the loss of redundancy from job to job (battle damage, chipped paint, weathering, weapon/engine residue, unit markings, etc) Just remember folks, on large flat bright/clean areas use thinner than normal paints. Take the time for that 5th thinned layer as it will be much more crisp and really pop. _________________ 2nd place is the 1st loser
