Does anyone around here play hordes. I have around 1000 AP in Skorne. They are unpainted and most are not even built.

Im sitting here looking at all the factions for hordes, with the original Main rulebook, and have no reason why I picked to play the Skorne. They are a very powerful faction, and the least played.

I just like the looks of the other factions a whole lot better. The painting that needs to be done on the skorne is very complicated. Im sure the others are quite complex as well, but the skorne is very small and detailed pieces.

I do like the Warlocks for the Skorne though. Very powerful, and there beasts are quite amazing as well.

I have:

Warlock Master Tormenter Morghoul
Warlock Lord Tyrant Hexeris
Light warbeast Cyclops Savage
Heavy warbeast Titan GladiatorHeavy Warbeast Titan Cannoneer
Praetorians unit w/extra man
Venators Unit w/extra man
Cataphract Arcuari unit w/extra man
Paingiver Beast Handlers w/extra man

Is there any interest in playing this game one day. It is a Skirmish style tabletop, as far as I know. Ive read most of the rules, and they seem really straight forward and well laid out.

I wish I would have picked the Trollbloods. Maybe if there is any good deals out, I make them up on it.....

Nick still has his Cygnar (sp) and I still have my Kador.

Really neat concept, heck awsome game concept. So-so to bad rules exicution.

Is it possible for two people to sit down with a Warpack each, and play Hordes and have fun. I think the points for the warpaks are around 350 points each./

Is the Warpacks set up for this kind of play, or are they indeed just there to get a good size army started fast./

Each warpack is almost identical in US. Dollars, running at around 40.00 dollars a piece./

Is it possible to play against Horde vs. Warmachine./

Has anyone ever played both games Warmachine and Hordes./ Could they possibly give there opinions on this matter./

Im considering making a game switch to Hordes for a bit. It seems everyone is playing in all 4 cornes, and its really cheap to do. Also the sculps are really nice to. And it helps that I have the main Rulebook for the Hordes game.

Thanks

I saw a game of circle vs. cygnar before. it seemed to go over smoothly.
Its just a matter of risk managment vs resource managment

How about the warpacks, lets say I plunk down a Skorne warpack, and you plunk down a Circle warpack, are they playable like this?

Was and is this the point of buying the warpack, amoung other reasons as well, like gaining more pieces.

I know a few people have warpack around here, just getting them out of there easy chair is the question,,,,,jgemrich, Hint Hint. Razz
