Ok, work sucked yesterday, and when I got home, I wanted to paint. So, I put some finishing touches on some of my IG, started painting some others that were primed, and began priming the Hellhound that I bought at Sci Fi on Saturday (which I assembled on Monday). So, while I was working on the hellhound, I needed to get a little more primer, so I grabbed the bottle (it's one of the Reaper brush on primer squeeze bottles) and tried to squeeze some onto my palette. Nothing came out.... So, I tried again, adding a little more pressure (not much, mind you, as I didn't want it to come out too fast) and BOOM!!!! the tip of the bottle went shooting out of the bottle and the primer exploded, basically in my face! I had primer all over me (my arms were basically covered on the underside of my wrists) and it was all over my hardwood floors and my painting chair!
Argggghhhh..... Oh well, I was still able to get the hellhound about 90% primed, and did get some more guardsman painted up, after about half an hour of cleaning up primer....
The moral of the story? make sure you don't squeeze a Reaper paint bottle if there is any chance it's even the slightest bit clogged....
