So a few questions then...

Should I go ahead and paint the 'dag' on the turret?

Any suggestions on the missile colour? I'm not luvin the red..

Any ideas on how to 'dust' the vehicles as if its rolled thru rubble other than a simple drybrush? I thought there was a product out there..

The 'dags' do need cleaned up, but I'm happy with them.
All of the models in the army will them incorporated.. ala Fat Bloke Wink

I'm really digging the scheme. I think you should paint the dag on the turret. As for the missiles maybe something along the lines of boltgun metal and keep a red stripe at the bottom of the missle head. I think I've heard of the "dust" stuff you're looking for, but cannot remember where.

I think blue would look cool on the missiles.

There are several products out there you can get to weather stuff. MicroMark a model hobbyist company has several. and FineScale modeler has a couple of recommendations on there website, as well as tutorials mostly related to the model tank Diorama folks but still applicable.

I really line the colors so far, and I agree I would go either blue(light) or a Yellow for the missiles. Insignia Yellow (Tamiya I think)is the color used by many model plane painters to paint missile tips. It does look very cool. Have you or are you planing to seal with Dull Coat

Yellow would work.

Might be a bit much if you have the lighting bolt insignia too though.

I'll try the blue missiles as I'm trying to freehand on the Lightning Bolt to both side doors and the top hatch. Coupled with the yellow eagle frontside, I agree the pale blue would look better.

Will work on it Monday and post some results.

Yes, I always use Testors Dull Cote. This model has yet to be hit.

That sounds familiar. I spied a weathering powder over in Toters Ottersville but failed to make the purchase. Thanks!
