| Guess it pays to get your entry fee in early. This is Marc's prize. He might have to hunt me down and rescue Eldrad from my display case. It is a handsome piece. http://www.coolminiornot.com/189106 |

Any chance that is WS Soft Flake? Thanks again! Yea...sorry about the quick turn time. I tried to slow down but he used some sort of Eldar Psychic attack to make me pick him up and start painting. After putting down a base coat it was repetition of some pretty tried and true recipes for me...gold, black, and red. The purple was the only new thing on the mini from a color standpoint. The snow is a product called Microballoons. It is used as a filler for model airplanes. WoHaG used to sell it. Costs about $3.99 for a life time supply. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0093p?&C=RMAYou mix these w/ white glue to the consistency of toothpaste then glob on the base. I sprinkle a little more on top then let dry. When dry I just blow off the excess. |
