Still not the awesomeness of the first list... But I think this list would do well

Instead, I shall comment as if this list was serious. The phase out number is too severe. Most armies will be able to weather the destroyer shots enough to kill warriors with long range fire. Most armies have something that moves more than 12 inches when assaulting, and if anything gets into CC, you're going to be hurting. Remember, your pie plates don't have that much range. I know that with a 3+ and WBB with your lord the guys have a decent chance of standing back up, but if you ever get to only 9 currently standing, poof.

He could always hide 'em.

Tatics....Nothing deepstrikes...

3 Monoliths 12 inches perfect into the center of the board.....1 on the left....the 2nd in the center....and the 3rd on the right......

leaves 2 squads of destroyers at 36" range shooting behind the liths into the other side of the board and my Wraiths to burn rubber streaking across to the biggest threats...mind you....they do have a 3+ invulnerable....leaving the troops behind.......waiting patinatly for something ot someone to come creeping into their 24" range of fire......

then theres my lord.....Res Orb and Phase shifter on a Destroyer body.....

he moves 12 as well.....

destroyer body will cost you some more points as well 50? What if other things can deep strike/teleport next to your warriors. If they die, you phase out pretty much.

ever hear of a Power Matrix?? This gives me the ability to whip my troops out of even close combat assults.......that leaves you the particle whips at 24" range......nasty isn't it? OR how many squads you intend to deep strike? I have Gause Flux for that....that's an attack to every unit that is within 12 inches of a monolith.....on d6 attacks......

either way.....I'm not worried.....

Yes, but you have to choose whether to teleport your troops, or to drop the pie plates. The D6 attacks thing isn't nearly as scary. I'm just saying, the two monolith list was the scariest, roll with that one.

if i am not mistaken.. dont you HAVE to deep strike the monolith(s)? i always thought it was a must.

though i must agree i think its a nasty list.. the more monoliths is not always the better. yeah they are dangerous.. but SLOW and with three you could lose one in terrain and that is a major point loss.

No you don't have to deepstrike them, but no codex on hand to see what needs to be clarified for you.
