| Just want to game/paint/assemble and blow off work for the week?
I've got the itch to finish these marines and start to get some color on them. No mood to concentrate on real work. |

| I actually took a week off a couple weeks ago and finished painting my Flames Of War Miniatures.
It was amazing. | |

Not with this job. People and the boss really appreciate my work. Yes with other jobs.

| I surf forums, and build a lot of lists at work, but so far haven't had too much of an urge to ditch in order to build/paint. Probably because I don't have anything to build and I'm bad at painting.
And the jet engines need me...

| Yeah, I'm a Materials Engineer at GE here in Evendale.
Sadly so far little to none of my work knowledge has transferred too well to the mini field. Maybe one day I'll attempt a scratch built model built out of metal welded together, but it will have to be very large in order to be feasible.

| I dunno, you do roll out some nasty mathammer skills.
Easier to use design skills like I have though.

| John, I been to GE a bunch of times to work on the fire systems...I am thinking you could get a grant to roll out a full scale Landraider from that joint, hell all the steel we threw away you could have fab'ed 1/2 of it | |

| Yeah, the scrap that I'm not supposed to touch fills warehouses.
The biggest problem would really be getting it out of there. I don't have a drive in and most of the union guys don't take to kindly to engineers rummaging through piles of stuff and then carrying them away.
