| Well I'm not sure if I can even go yet, but I was kicking around some possible lists at 1000 pts. This is a tough point level for me since I have to buy 2HQ units and at least minimally arm them, but here goes.
HQ 1 Wolf Lord Frost Axe Belt of Russ Frag Grenades Plasma Pistol Wolf Tooth Necklace Wolf Tail Talisman 1 Rune Priest Power Weapon Term Armor Frag Grenades Storm Bolter Psychic Hood Wolf Tooth Necklace
7 Grey Slayers Melta Melta 1 Pack Leader Power Fist MotW Runic Charm 7 Grey Slayers Melta Melta 1 Pack Leader Power Fist MotW Runic Charm 6 Grey Slayers Plasma Plasma 10 Fenrisian Wolves
I don't have any heavy weapons, but buying long fangs at this point level is terribly painful.
I also have a variant where I put the lord in term armor and swap the rune priest for a wolf priest. Thoughts? | |

| No keep the Rune Priest, at 1K pts anyone with psychers can ruin an army. Example: DP w/ wings, mark of slaanesh, and lash is 155 pts. Makes one unit a turn move to a place they don't want to be w/ a possibility of pin. In this small of a game where you may not have that many units, that could throw a serious monkey wrench in your plans. Of course this is coming from someone with serious thought problems and tactics. Sorry, too much fizzy drinks . | |

| Keep him for the Physic Hood, plus models in terminator armour can't sweep in advance. | |
