Acid Maw; Adrenal Glands +1 In: Adds +1 to Initiative.; Adrenal Glands +1 WS: Adds +1 Weapon Skill.; Toxin Sacs +1 St: Adds +1 to Strength.; Winged; Scything Talons (x2); Warp Field Drop the +1WS, he will already be hitting on 3+ with just about everything. I feel like + STR is wasted too unless you make him a dakka flyrant. He just won't need the added strength. - Quote :

Drop the talons, any competent player will avoid carnifexes, they are too slow to catch units. Better to make them dakka. Add another barbed strangler or somethign else. Then drop the + WS and the other close combat oriented biomorphs. He just won't need them. I'd then drop a zoan and add an elite dakka-carni... your list will be hard as nails after that. | |

| I can't use the elite 'fex 'cause the pts (1500 pts or more). I hear where you coming from with the other 'fex, it's just that I don't want to break off scything talons from him (didn't use magnets). With the zoanthropes I figured I can use them for vehicles or troops (especially ap3 on marines). It's a good idea with the tyrant, not many with T5 or WS5 or better, other than IC's. I also wanted to use what I have painted for the prizes. Thanks | |

| I understand what you are saying with models that are painted and what not.
Looking good though. | |

| My boy might get a little pissed also, they're his bugs. I may be painting them for him, but they're his. He chose how to put them together (upgrades and such) and I paint them (he chose the color scheme). His painting skills aren't quite up to par and let's face it, he's only 8 and would rather play than paint. | |

| That looks pretty tough. For scoring purposes, I would drop the horms and try to get two units of terms w/ fbs (if you have them painted). A couple good rounds of enemy shooting may be bad for the small bugs. | |

| You need to remember that the tables will be quite smaller, 4x4 and at least 4 pieces of area terrain. With that in mind there will be alot of cover on a small battlefield for units to use. 2 feet off a table might not seem alot, but I played a game against my son the other night using only a 4x4 battlefield and it really makes a difference. But yes I have a unit of 8 terms with fleshborers painted. Thanks for the imput though. | |

| 8 gaunts will still die pretty fast. I don't think it's too much of a problem though... seems like you are going to be using the other models (the TMC's) for capping objectives anyway. Well at least until 5th Edition! | |
