Chad asked for me to paint this up for him as a reminder of his old Orc army.

I really struggled to bring the figure together with all the pieces and complexities. I'm not sure I did justice to his conversion. Embarassed

As always comments and critiques are encouraged.

Justice and more!
That is amazing, I wish I could paint half as well as that.

Well.... Ok, but only if somebody besides you picks up a brush.

Burnt Umber (Vallejo Model Color) - you can go Charred brown w/ a touch of Earth brown if you are going GW.

Yellow brown (bronze flesh I think for this one)
Amber Gold (Reaper Master series) or GW Bone w/ Bronze flesh
GW Bone White
White.

This is all layered up in 'Eavy Metal technique. no shading or inks.

Yea....burnt umber and SS Camo Black brown from Vallejo are pretty standard for me to "dirty up the figs".

All the browns were washed w/ the SS Camo BB before starting highlights.

The Burned umber is just a more natural dark brown then GW. It has a little more grey in it to soften the transitions IMO.

From where? To the Gallery forum? I guess it's been a while since I finished something.

Good news.... I've got 4 figures to do tonight/tomorrow for Gen Con. 2 Old Conf figs and 2 Infinty figs. Pressure is on.

Thought I would post some of the picks [thumbnails] I took while doing the conversion for anyone interested...john has some cooler bases so that was defiantly changed, mine was pretty weak from the start. Everything is pinned on the model even the tiny bullet strip and the horns.
