They finally opened!!??!!!

they have indeed been open nearly 10 months now-

the owners are nice and really "Salt 'O the earth" people


i've been in several times usually for Movie nights and to get my fix of the infamous "Bawls" Guarnna energy drink or "Candichino" (Liquid Chocolate sex, BTW)

There is certainly a fixture of "Younger folks" there but the Owners are "My Age" so it's a friendly ballance

What kind of rates do they charge to play games and such?

I looked at their website and it was pretty vague about a lot of things.

I talked on the phone with them - and they said they'd only been open about 10 WEEKS. (not months)

At MILLENNICON, this past March they had a room party to preview the place.

OUR LATEST SUNDAY MEETING HAS REVEALED THE FOLLOWING FURTHER DETAILS ABOUT THE PARTY:

COSTUME CONTEST
Categories:
- Overall Best costume
- Sexiest (Male OR Female! And remember, this doesn't necessarily have to do with who shows the most flesh!)
- Most Inappropriate (As outrageous as you can be!)
- Best Genre (Sci-Fi, Anime, Fantasy, Sports, etc.)
- Funniest
- Best GROUP THEME costume (must be 4 or more in a group to qualify).

JUDGING OF THE COSTUMES WILL OCCUR BETWEEN 9pm AND 11pm HALLOWEEN NIGHT!

YOU MUST BE IN THE STORE SOMETIME DURING THIS PERIOD TO BE CONSIDERED. In other words, the judges (Roxx's management team) will need to look you over and take a picture or two in order to give you a fair chance. :-)

PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT MIDNIGHT!

We have revised some of the prizes, thus:
- One prize per category
- Best Overall Costume gets one of the two party promo posters.
- Winners may choose either: Free Copper Membership OR 15 Roxx Points OR A free stainless steel mug (10% off any beverage placed in it, in perpetuity!)
- DOOR PRIZES will be awarded as people arrive. We will mark your hand to indicate that you have already drawn for a prize. We will have a bag of indicators (marbles probably) and you will win prizes based on color. White: hot chocolate. Black: coffee. Blue: free Bawls! Red: free Mexicoke! Yellow: a Roxx Sticker Pack (One bumper sticker, two shiny gold stickers) Green: The Poster on the door!

We've also decided to provide some pumpkins for the carving contest, at cost. So, if you forget to bring your own, you can still participate. :-) The prize for the pumpkin carving contest is the same as the costume contest.
