| Here are my Necrons. Thanks Scav for the sale. These are down and dirty Sprayed black Sprayed silver black ink wash. Then some weathering with red/browns and orange browns. The base is done with cobra leather drybrushed with VMC desert Yellow. This if finished with some rust colored weathering powders for variations The monolith was done with air brushing and drybrushing. Only the gold details on the front were hand painted. Regards. | everytime I look at anything you paint, it makes me happy that you dont play and army that I play, or else I might just have to give up on painting that army

| Very nice. Never would have figured you for the 'crons John, you're painting skills are SO good, and your stated purpose seems to be to paint more than play, that it seems like they would be uninteresting to you. None the less, very nice.
I've thought about it off and on. They're a quick and dirty for (from a modeling perspective) that's fairly effective game-wise in 40K. So they make a good first army for beginners, or an excellent second army for busy people. | |

We have a winner. I get a little bored with one army sometimes. And since I like to play with a painted army this was an easy option to add to the mix. I'll still continue with the space marines. There are a ton of different things I can do w/ that 'dex but I really need to work on some more squads and tanks. |

| man I miss my list when I played these guys.....I ran 2 Mono's and 10 Destroyers.......40 troops and 3 wraiths.....was sick......they were so much fun......went with the exact color scheme too cept I glossed my Mono's to give them the living metal look and then Brown Ink.......such a fun army | |
