Sucks that HB sides are 30 pts and Las sides are 60.

why? with heavy bolter sides you can move and shoot everything, whereas a las pred HAS to stay stationary to shoot at full effectiveness.

The above loadout is the best imo.

I'm not saying the sides are bad, I'm just saying that it sucks they are 30 pts for heavys and 60 for las. And what's worse, all marines are to be nerfed in this way, now full Pred Annihilators will cost 165+!

the thing is Nathan, Las sponsons aren't that good anyway.

Wind of Chaos is nasty, but was it added because of floating points?

I have the Hvy Bolters ready to roll and they will be painted (I have a nice Tin Bitz, Black Ink, Boltgun Metal batch mixed up for the army wide base coat btw, stupid rain) Just curious on the ramifications on a simple swap.

Makes it more IW fluffy? Background suggests so

Would really like to have them instead of the 2nd Pred, but at 135 the Pred is such a deal IMO. Shame you can no longer morph Hvy Bolters and Autocannons with your Oblits. Would have made the choice easier.

In the end I may stand put, but buy the 2 Oblits anyway

I think I wanna buy a Predator. Looks fun to put together and paint. I'd go with the LAS top and HB sides as well.

It is definitely the most efficient load out... and so damn cheap!

I prefer the two Oblits to the Havocs Marc, they will be more useful.

Besides that, there's more plasma over-heat (and subsequent death) for your army!
