BfSK and AoBR are still cheap as shit.

They are, but 15 dollars up now, 15 again next year... soon enough these awesome (and super cheap) ways to get into the hobby wont be so awesome or super cheap any more.

I'm not really that upset about it, but they really should have combined the last increase with this one. that's really more or less what makes this increase that much harder to take. I'll keep buying until I'm priced out of the game.

Interesting. To me they are a value compared to the company I came from (Rackham). The issue is you need a hell of a lot more figs to enter the game.

I considered starting an IG army 2K pts only..then priced it out.

That's the point, first they changed the rules system to require more models, then they keep increasing the price of the models. And now they have the rules system that requires a TON more models (Apoc) and they increase the price of the models again.

I'm waiting for the day that GW accidently sets their prices higher than Forgeworld, then everyone will have Krieg armies

You could always go for the tank armies and just use vets as your troop choices. I really hate the fact they are switching to box sets that come with just ten guys. It is only good if the models were previously metal.

Of course nobody wants the prices to be raised... well no players. But we do all want bigger and bigger battles, and we all want new codex's (codixes?) and we want the new models and we....
Some R&D funds have to come from somewhere right?

Oh.. or they could come from the $20 models that cost .03 a piece to make
But whatever.

I really must be the only person that isn't super bothered by this. Wowzers.

It is what it is... still one of the cheaper hobbies out there.
