How about these changes... I really want more troops in my list and I don't know just how it will do vs. horde now. (question is am I making these changes to better my army or am I just testing to see how many pages of tactica Ricter will write for each tweak...jk lol)

| As far as I know space marines, this looks aton better.
Good saturation, you got some key players on the board as well as an arsenal of deepstriking stuff.
I can't say too much about how SM run, but at least the list cohesive, and by that I mean each choice seems to have a clear defined goal as well as you have good saturation.

| Ok Ricter... where's it at I tweaked again, am I getting better?
Oh by the way did you know you can fit the entire 2nd company of the ultramarines in a 2500 point list? (this of course is refering to what GW sells as the company... They leave out the 2 dreads and chap and Librarian.

| Who's going to use the LR as a transport? The termis # is too many, each tac squad has a pod, the devastator squad has the razorback, and the assault squad can't ride. Are you going to put either HQ in them by themselves or maybe just use the LR as a moving pillbox w/ lascannons? | |

| Pillbox is a fortified enclosed gun emplacement usually made with concrete.
I thought the termies were 1 squad, my mistake.

(question is am I making these changes to better my army or am I just testing to see how many pages of tactica Ricter will write for each tweak...jk lol) This list is a lot better off, much more focused. However, some points and questions. Who are the two HQ riding along with? You might want to switch one of the beacons to a tactical squad, and have them and one of the dreads go down, instead of double dread. This allows you to have more flexibility with your drops. I would trim the termies so that they fit in the raider (i.e. 6, or 5 if one of the HQ tags along). The termies can't combat squad at 9 members anyways, they have to have 10. Double Vindicator is nice, and the tactical squads are better armed. I'd try to upgrade the swords to fists if you're going to put the points out for a melee weapon anyways. Devastator squads are really, really questionable. They are a huge number of points and don't have the firepower to compensate. With Lascannons, they cost more than a landraider, have similar firepower (4 las, bolters vs 2 TL, heavy bolter), can't fire on the move, can't transport your extra terminators, can't split their fire and aren't nearly as survivable. If they're going to stay, they need to be bumped up to 10 so they have more ablative wounds and can combat squad if necessary, since 4 LC at one target isn't always efficient. A razorback is a really cheap weapons platform, but you get what you pay for here - it's easy to destroy, and oftentimes a landspeeder better serves the purpose. Assault Squads are okay, as long as you're not relying on them to really do anything. I'm not sure what they're really doing in your list. Anti-horde isn't really a big problem for you, especially this year. But if it concerns you, you can put 2x flamers on your assault squad, and they'll provide nice anti-horde.
