| So I've decided to indulge myself in a new platform because I'm diggin the Call of Duty 4 trailers. OK, mainly because my boy wants the new LEGO Star Wars and its not available on the NGC Question.. which XBOX should I get? There is a Core and an Elite and a Pro I think. All the more confusing. There are some increases in price from one to the other of course. Which is worth it and why? | |

| does the halo edition have the hdmi cord?
I would get the premium, just make sure the date on the box is semi-recent. So that it will have the new heat sinks etc. As the old units tend to fail a lot.
Then I'll see you on CoD4, I'm picking mine up tonight!

| here are the different kinds:
Core- it comes with a wire controller and no hard drive (cheapest)
Premium- it come with a wireless controller, 20 gig hard drive, and a xbox live headset (midrange)
Elite- it comes with a wireless controller, a 120 gig hard drive, and a xbox live headset, and a flippn' sweet black finish (most expensive)
in my oppinion, the premium is the best for the buck. the wireless controller is way better and a hard drive is a must have. if you plan to store lots of movies and demos and tons of other content the 20 gig hard drive isn't going to be enough. you'll need the 120 gig. but you can also use the 20 for games, and buy a extra 120 for your extra content, and then just swap them when needed.
it all just depends what your going to be doing.

| Nice one Ryan.
I agree the premium is the best buy, you really won't fill up the 20gb as long as you keep deleting demos and avoid the overpriced HD movies.

| It's good, has the new heat sinks, HDMI and is pretty much like the premium. It's just ugly as sin | |

| I'd just ask if that is the faulty one, or the new model. If they don't tell you/don't know, go somewhere else. | |

| Well, everyone is aware of these faulty systems and insure me (with a smile) that what they're selling are by no means the newer Xbox. I believe it was Target that said he was onlytold to mention the faults if anyone asked ..nice. I may go the super PC route. | |

| I wouldn't. The way the market is going, 360 is lead skew for anything that is released this side of a strategy game. Except for the exclusives of course.
Depends on what your game tastes are though.

| I personally will be purchasing the PS3 next week!!! XBOX is too expensive(check it out if you don't believe me) and doesn't really have anything too special unless you are a Halo addict, which I'm not, Sure PS3 is slower to come out with their stuff but they have now what I want... Madden, NCAA, Guitar Hero, Starwars Legos, Call of Duty, and I don't have to pay to play... Almost bought a Wii but everyone kept selling out, Was gonna buy it for the interactive games... PS3 has them coming out next year but wanted to revamp the interaction based of the issues the Wii was having with controllers slamming into TV's and walls and peoples heads | |

| Now there are plenty of PS3s in stock around town. Why is that? Not a Halo3 addict. Never even played Halo1 Loved the Star Wars Commando on PC though. The new Star Wars Lego not coming out on GameCube sparked this whole thing... | |
