Mycetic Spores

OK Tyranid Players,

Saw a couple of premature videos of the new Tyranid Codex and it is confirmed; Tyranids get a drop pod!

I want to dedicate this thread to the creation of Mycetic spores that represent a drop pod for Tyranids:

Post your versions or Ideas here so that everyone can comment and see if we can come up with some cool Nid Drop Pods.

These are the start of my Mycetic Spores:

I plan on adding some vine type or lash whip type tenticals around the mid section and maybe some type of weapon around the top to represent whatever type of firing they get!

I am trying to create an organic look that may have been shot from a mother ship deep in space.

Looks like the material cup holders are made from, right?

You sir are going to need to get rid of those illegal Carnifex load outs

As for the material it is pressed cardboard packaging!

Yeah those drink holder things at fast food places! :p

Fortunately I haven't build my Carnifex yet, i'm going to use them as Tervigons!

now I know where you get drink holder idea but thats not what they were it is same material though!

Thats a pretty funky shape, what did those things contain?

I'm still debating whether or not I will use any, I like my massive swarm idea. But I have always wanted a deep strike army :'(

They came from a box of beakers from Fischer Scientific. I cut them up into four pie shaped pieces and then used three for each spore.
