L5R?...

Kinda wondering if anyone here has played the LEgends of the Five Rings RPG? an/or would be interested in playing in or running a campaign?

right before i left virginia some friends and i where looking at starting a game. i would love to get into a campagain.

From Where abouts in Virginia did you come?

What was your favorite clan?
And did you play the card game as well?

i lived on the middle pennisula. no i never played the card game. and i never got a good chance to read any of the books, and that was over a year ago. but if i remember correctly there was a shadow or void clan that had my interest

Uh yeah the "shadow" was defeated and became the New Lion Clan Akodo Family, the Scorpion has the Shadow Tower in their clan but that is basically a bunch of Ninjas and Maho users...
I grabbed all the second edition books while at Origins this year trying to put something together just seeing who would be interested

I played both the card game and the rpg when they first came out. A lot has changed since then. The whole look and feel of the card game is different so I bailed. I wouldn't mind trying the new version of the RPG, but I don't own any of the new material for it.

I tried to get a group together on their official website some time ago. Had two responses but the guys never could make it.

Just loved the original character sheet.

If the remake has anything going for it, it is fewer books.
