While I am a noobie and doing my first tourney in 40k today the summer season, down at temple called Yottaquest-LOL
I am not new to gaming is it me or do you guys contend with this kind of action as well ?
OK- I also play Bass guitar as a hobby too...
And involved with various sites for musicians bands and what not...
I showed the video of army to have people call me a nerd -the same people that never have played the game...

You know whats really cool is when people revert back to High School Daze. They use terms such as Nerd Geek so on and so forth...
The big get back arrives later in life when you have to support yourself and mold your way into society by a standard that is already preset...
The ones that are trying to be the outcasts, and play themselves as something there really not, due to the fact, that they want to hide the fact, there really a victim of Puberty.
To the point they are not able to display any true dislikes or likes based from experience. Which if you look closer it's got to be some genetic flaw in that class of society itself. This is the conclusion reached by the Leaders in Social sciences both past and present-Anyway...
How do you Judge something you have never tried whether it be a table top wargame that demands certain crafting skills and a strategic mind set. Or really anything else for that matter ?
This is a question that has haunted the most intelligent members of society throughout the ages. I refuse to claim ,that I have the answer.
However I will openly share -what I feel to be poetic justice in a watered down weak minded form. For not only the ignorant but also the most floridated among us... (They really can't help it or so we been told-LOL)
When we all Grow up and leave school the nerds and the geeks, get the job and the girl and the car and the house ...
...While the ones that tried to play the role, by picking on the nerds and the geeks and flunking out of school. All the while wacking off to National Geographic magazines in there dads study.
End up growing up to a life that consists of asking people "if they want fries with that" if they are lucky.
