| I think its SCI-FI this Thursday isint it.I need to give my truck a break from all that driving.I need to get up there anyways, and start playing, its to close to my house to be skippin out on.Although I enjoy playing all over cincinnati anyways.Plenty of gaming going on.
I really looking for some competition for my Red Blok. They are really good in the Campaign format. They are slow movers, but with some finness, they take full units out in one salvo.

| I like to play specific missions, for the game of AT-43 is much more balanced with desingned missions with excact terrain and secondary Objectives, and main objectives.Ive played every different style of AT-43 ,and this is my best opinion I can give.
As far as playing Campaign style missions, there is a bunch of extra rules and special abilitys to try and remember. If one person is playing to the all the special abilitys, and the other isint, the game can become very overmatched, for one side or the other.
I learned from plying the origial downloadable missions from the at-43 site. They generally only use one OD play paper map,and alot smaller units and armys.
The original and still useable Main rulebook missions one thru 4 onlyare great learning and very fun missions. The last two or three missions are extreamly diffulcult to play and would only recommend them when the time is right, once again, these last two missions in the main rule book could become very unbalanced,if both parties arnt on the same leval.
Kadden,Im going to leave it up to you this Thursdaynight.I would play somthing smaller for the first few games.Play some fast warm up games, then go into a 2000 A.P. Game.

| We can do the very first mission in the Main rulesbook.Kill them all style, all in,V.P. I think officers/overseers,A.F.V.,and heros.I dont have it in front of me,so dont quote me. As far as CJ,I really dont knpow anyones schdules for this Thursday, and as far as his points,he will have a kick butt, fast moving With his choice of all the special weapons in the Wing troopers clan.I would say he is close or better than 2000A.P,and 1500/500...We wont do any splits untill army construction is a natural process...
Later. | |

| Hmmm,Fantasy or AT-43,Hmmm,AT-43 All the way!!,Sike,if you want to .. I really dont have a transport yet for all this stuff, and I have alot of time into painting these little figures.I need a figure carrying case, for sure!!
Thinking more about Confrontation, the rules are set up really close to AT-43,so its going to be a unit based game, not skirmish,so it will fast pased like AT-43,I really cant see painting really nice netals to skoop them up all day long and beat the tar out of them, you know what I mean?I might wait and see how popular it becomes before diving inn and buying a bunch of units.I do have my eye on a few particulars though.

| I should be there by 5:30 I work til 4:30 and live on the other side of town. Yea the Confrontation thing looks sweet. I like the idea of the starter and us playing but waiting on the popularity before investing big. I'll bring just at-43 and a 2000k list | |
