| I looked at the faq on the Dark Angels and couldn't find an answer to my question which I found strange. It says in the codex that you can make a squad of six bikers, an attack bike, and a land speeder. My question is how does one allocate wounds on the squad if it had armor in it. Do you put it on the bikes or speeder or mix it up? | |

| Allocate like normal. You can allocate to any model you want. | |

| So you'd roll to hit like normal, roll to wound against the majority toughness (5 for bikes), then the DA Player would allocate wounding hits to bikes and roll armor rolls, or allocate them to the Speeder and then have to roll Penetration (which, if you have to wound before having to penetrate, is an additional layer of die-rolling odds you'd have to deal with before actually hitting the thing), which is odd. | |

| I thought you were forced to split them off into seperate groups, or at least split the Land Speeder off...I don't have my 'dex to check though | |

| Both the Land Speeder AND the Attack Bike are always separate scoring units from the rest of the bikers. | |

| So you essentially get 3 units (bikes, attack bike, speeder) for one FoC FA slot? That's still not too shabby.
Wait, I thought that some old codices allowed a single attack bike as a member of a normal bike squadron, so only 2 units? | |

| This codex actually requires them to split up. It is goofy. I would not take the attack bike as a solo unit. Bad idea. Too much of a liability and not very effective. | |
