| Are dragon princes that much better then Silver helms w/ a shield?
I understand they get dragon armour and I6 vs I5. Is there that much fire/breath to worry about?
What am I missing that makes them worth +7 pts a model?
Thanks, |

| The I6 alone makes it worth their weight. I6 means your are going before Storm Vermin and Chaos Warriors and other nasties. And since you should never be charging down the center with them, the number of models you kill will have impact. The option for the 25 point magic item doesn't hurt either, since you can give them some Magic Resistance and the like.
Dragon Princes are indeed that much better.

| Initiative means nothing really for High Elves, they always strike first so... But I dont know much beyond that they are pointy eared little things for the O&G to eat. | |

That is what I thought too so I5 or I6...meh. However, if they carry an additional attack... I missed that. Haven't really invested the time in looking at the magic items b/c they add to the cost. |

| The differences between the two are... +1 Weapon Skill, +1 Initiave, +1 Attack, +1 Leadership. Also, the previously mentioned advantages of taking 25pts of magical items, and a magical banner. | |
