| I've been debating what to run for Cagbash, and I was lamenting that I can't take allied deamonhunter inquisitors with my imperial guard army anymore. Then something occured to me. Where does it say the Grey Knight codex replaces the Deamonhunter codex? They have different names. I can't find anything in the Grey Knight codex that says it replaces the Deamonhunter codex.
Does anyone know of anywhere official this is stated?

Kirk has a very good point, I think I'll field my 2nd edition orks, I mean it's not like it was ever "Officially Replaced" right?

| What is your second edition Ork codex named? Orks? What is the current edition ork codex named? Orks? I don't see much of a conundrum there as far as using the most recent codex. My point is that I have a codex named Daemonhunters, and a more recent codex named Grey Knights. If someone can point me at the list of officially current codecies I would appreciate it. I did check the list of armies on their website and Daemonhunters is not listed. Then again, Dark Angels are not listed either. Are Dark Angels not an official codex any longer? Of course the GW stance is that they leave it up to event TO's to set the rules for individual events. Which really means that GW can't be bothered to write up rules or tournament policies that are airtight, or even watertight, or even tight enough to hold watermelons. Don't worry, I'm not gonna bother with an allied inquisitor if I run guard, I just like making waves... And who is Kirk, anyway? | |

| He was probably a victim of auto spell.
So is there a rule saying I can't use the squats or genestealer cults?

| Kirk is the Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise!!! As for your other question, I see what you are saying. However most of the DH codex is Grey Knight related so I thought the GK codex made it an instant relic. I would love to still be able to bring that Inquisitor unit with Mystics with my Witch Hunters. But I am thinking the DH codex is a dead one. I did a search on GW's site for codexs and DH is not listed but DA are listed. WH were not listed but they are giving it away through a PDF. | |

| I typed in Codex in the search bar on the GW site and it came up. It was the sixth one on the list. | |

| I'm going to say no. The grey knight codex replaces the demonhunters codex. | |

| Makari?
Can I use the Angels of Death codex instead of Codex Blood Angels? Nothing says anywhere that Codex: Blood Angels officially replaces it. They don't even have the same name.
This is great! 2nd edition herohammer here I come!
