Apoc Game Thurs.Dec 29th 10am 40,000points!!!!

EGC will open early to play 40,000 points per side.

A sign up sheet will be available at egc. Bring max 5,000 Points minimum 1,000points. All models must be WYSIWYG!!!
They dont have to be painted.

Good vs. Evil (ish) Necrons will be bad Tau will be good.

special scenario to be posted 1 week ahead.

A General will be assigned for each side. That General will have control of all special named characters. Build list as if you purchased the character... for example if you take wazdakka all warbikes on evil can be fast or troops...

If you start at 1000, what time do you think it will be over? I'm just looking for an estimate because I have plans Thurs evening.

this is 40,000 points don't make plans... LOL. Stay as long as you can... My Stompas should be wrappi ng up the game by 10 pm but if not i'll go as long as it takes. any one who cant stay can pull their army out when they leave and the side will be compensated. If you are there until the very end you could win a cool prize!!!

Seize and Capture!
ALL OUT WAR has begun on Alteris Prime an ancient world long forgotten. Only the overgrown vegetation and ruins provide proof of the previous inhabitants. Marine Scouts have found some relics that may point to this planet holding a lost Gene Seeded Primarch Trapped in a stasis field. The problem is the planet is also filled with deadly plants and wildlife but rich in supplies.
Primary Objective: Hold the center ruin with an HQ choice and a Troop Choice for 3 Consecutive turns for 20 Battle Points. It doesn’t have to be the same unit but an HQ and Troop must occupy at the end of each turn.
Secondary Objective: Throughout the terrain are hidden relics that can help your side. Each real objective is worth 1 Battle Point. An objective can only be revealed by Infantry or Jump infantry units, but can be scored by any unit except vehicles without transport capability. An objective is discovered at the end of the movement phase, roll a D6 and consult the chart below.
1- It’s a trap: Place Apocalypse template over objective all models hit are suffer a S4 AP- Ordinance.
2-5 it is an objective worth 1 Battle point.
6- It is an Objective worth 5 Battle Points. Only the first 6 rolled will produce this result then follow the table below:
2nd time a 6 is rolled the unit has found a Vortex grenade and may use it.
3rd time a 6 is rolled a teleport homing beacon is found, Remove unit and deepstrike immediately, will not scatter. May assault if able to in the assault phase.
4th time a 6 is rolled the unit finds enlightenment, Increase 1 stat by 1 point, No stat can go beyond 10.
5th time a 6 is rolled it’s a trap see 1 above but at S10 AP2 Ordinance. No more after that.

Tertiary: Each side will have 1 Commander. 2 Battle Points are awarded if that commander is dead at the end of the game.
