| Happy New Year everybody! I hope everyone has recovered from last night sufficiently. If not here is something that might help take your mind off that. This is the rumoured release schedule for 2013 from a couple of different sources. from Faeit 212, 3 or 4 codices this year will be a good one, especially since we will be seeing Dark Angels here in just a few short days. That's starting the year off right. So its all good news from here on. Tau in May, and Eldar sometime later in the year. I am posting up the release order that Hastings has put up (which is current cannon on what is coming atm), and the release dates we have seen listed for next year from Larry Vela. I am going to add in one more that is still being whispered by a couple sources, but nothing is solid on.... and that is a 40k summer campaign (with new models for several armies and a supplement book) Please remember that these are all rumors, and are very subject to change and move around a lot. So lets hope that Chaos Daemons are a codex, and that we really do see 4, but expect only 3 codex releases this year for 40k. via Larry Vela over on BolsJAN: Dark Angels FEB: Daemons MAR: Wave month (hobbit, warriors of chaos, 40k) APR: High Elves MAY: Tau JUN: Summer wave (40k, supplement book for 40k) JUL: Lizardmen AUG: Mystery Box SEP: Wave month OCT: ??? NOV: Eldar DEC: ??? via Hastings (release order)Dark Angels Chaos Daemons/Daemons of Chaos Tau High Elves Eldar Lizard Men | |

| Got to love the rumors, here is a few more.
by Natfka:
February's White Dwarf is not going to be focused on Daemons. Nope. The way this rumor came in gives me quite a bit of confidence in its accuracy. Enough to say that this is an internal leak would be a better description of the information.
So what are we getting..... Flyers!!!!!! Dark Eldar, Tyranids, Tau, and Eldar. I am going to assume that with this rumor, it means that daemons are a February pre-order with a March release as many rumors have been claiming.
This rumor has me all excited to see what is done with aerial battle and the new flyers. I want to give the source a huge thanks. He/she really made my day/week/month.
via an internal Games Workshop source Next White Dwarf will feature aerial battle using campaign of fire rules and NEW flyers
Tau receive a flyer and data sheet for it. Fast attack choice. Armor 11 all around. Non tau pilot. Looks like a manta ray flying backwards. Bs 4 super sonic. S6 ap4 missiles. Off center gun heavy 6 str 5 ap 4 twin linked or single small blast Str 8 ap 2.
Eldar flyer and data sheet for it. Very similar stats to dark eldar flyer has missile lock, has distortion missiles.smaller fighter looks like elongated vyper.
The harpy for tyranids. Nothing to note. Not a dual kit. The final surprise. A fourth flyer. The long awaited dark eldar bomber.

More rumors and inside sources are chiming in that it is indeed a full Chaos Daemons release coming, Hardback codex and all. This is excellent news, and a first that I can recall of 40k getting two codices released in successive months. Wow.
Talking about a fast and furious release schedule for Games Workshop. If this all comes to fruition, I just want to say thank you GW. If release schedules like this continue, we really could see a 4 codex release year for 2013. Exciting indeed.
Also of note, flyers are mentioned for a March release.
via an anonymous source Here is the latest rumor bits
The next white dwarf previews the new daemons. The previously white dwarf released units are changing slightly (some get better, some worse). The following white dwarf previews flyers. So feb daemons, March flyers.
Oh p.s. No new god. No hybrid GDs. Expanded fluff on malice.
it's two separate books. Not one book that has rules for both like the white dwarf updates. it's a hard cover full release not an insert.

| by Larry Vela:
We've just seen back to back releases for Dark Angels and Warriors of Chaos. Here's what's coming next.
We've now heard from various birds that Games Workshop is going full steam ahead - with a release schedule that just wont stop. Here's the next three months:
LaHte-Feb-March : 40K Flyer Wave Look for the Eldar, Tau, Tyranid, and Dark Eldar flyers. That will get flyers into pretty much everyone's hands to equalize the flyer imbalance between the armies at last. Sorry Templars and Sisters - go grab some surplus Arvus Lighters and hope for the best...
March-April: Chaos Daemons 40K-WFB Look for BOTH systems to get new books and a launch wave of minis to go with them. Major miniatures releases will have some new plastic Major Daemons and Daemonic Chariots. Some daemonic cavalry and others are mixed in as well.
April-May: Tau Empire Look for an all new shiny hardback Codex to bring your favorite blue fishmen into the 21st century. Many new kits (like the uber-suit) and all new rules. Book is said to be a big overhaul for thee space-commies.
~That means we should have 4 new hardcover books for 40K one year after 6th edition launched. For Games Workshop and the design studio that is quite a performance! Ohh, my poor wallet...

Normally this would not make news, but this is not the first time I have heard this, and hence why its worth posting up. The just of it is that we are going to be continuing to see a codex around every 3 months (loosely). Already this year we have seen 2 codex releases, which is nothing short of amazing as its only the beginning of March.
I know this topic at one point (over 6 months ago) was being discussed, and that there was more to it, but it lines up with what was said over on Heresy Online, and correlates with what we have seen with the fast and furious release schedules we have seen lately.
The point I suppose is this, we are looking at getting to every codex within a couple years, OK maybe three, and that this type of release schedule is a dream come true for most hobbyist. It is interesting that GW staff and local stores and at Warhammer World are now dispersing this information.
Along the bottom of this post, I am including Hastings release order list again, because now rumor wise, we are looking past Chaos Daemons, to see what is next, and how quickly the next codex (Tau) may come.
Please remember that this falls under rumors, so as always a little salt is required.
via falcoso over on Heresy Online All 40k armies updated in 3 years? So on several ocsasions I have spoken to the staff at my FLGS and at warhammer world about releases, and they have been saying that they are aiming to release a new codex every 3 months, and so far that has held up with CSM DA and deamons. That leaves 12 armies left (I think) which means that if GW keeps this release rate then all the armies should be up to date in 3 years.
via 75hastings69 on Warseer August 21st 2012 For clarity running order for 40k & wfb =
40k starter
CSM
WoC
DA
CD/DoC Tau HE Eldar LM

| Hastings has been busy and has expanded up on this release order, bringing us through probably mid next year.... although no time table was given, just the order of things. Of course Hastings word is considered canon, by not only most of the online community but by myself as well.
The Allied supplement rumor has been floating along for quite a long time now, and with this, unless more comes to light, it is dead. "There is no Allies Supplement".
This list also appears to correlate with what we had been hearing is in playtesting. So exciting times are ahead!
Please remember that while rumors are rumors, Hastings words tend to be Canon.
75hastings69 over on warseer There's no allies supplement. So I'm not sure when we might see this kroot monster that 2 people have seen.
Release order discussion from warseer MajorWesJanson Tau are next, then Eldar. Sisters, Templars, Orks, and probably Nids need books before IG does.
75hastings69 response Not quite, remove sisters & Templars...... replace with SM & IG....... Although the order of them might be mixed up a bit
Oops my mistake, I thought you were listing the order, then I realised you were listing codex that need updating before IG ....... still a little further look ahead in the future of 40k never did any harm did it?
another posted question I was under the impression it was Tau, Eldar, Orks, SM, Nids, then Guard?
75hastings69 answer. Move the orks

| Boy the rumors keep flying! Enjoy
originally posted on faeit 212:
Space Marines are set to be released in June according to this new rumor set. Not only that, but the mystery box coming this fall is explored and talked about. Lets just right into it this morning, since I woke up a little a late today.
My first thought on this is that this mornings rumor bit goes against the Hastings release order, at least slightly, by pushing Space Marines up before a fall/ later summer release. Of course if Eldar are really slated for later this summer, as fast as codices have been released, then something was missing. Either Eldar had to move forward in time, or a release break has to occur.
Space Marines would fill that slot nicely. Not only in time, but because we have not seen the base Standard Space Marine codex yet for 6th edition.
I want to say that while this source is anonymous, and new to this site, he has some good source credentials. I am sorry that I will not go into this any further, as he must remain anonymous.
This would be a nice surprise release, and of course, if the release was to happen in June, the first Saturday of June is June 1st. That is really close. In fact its super close with the fact that we would start seeing White Dwarf pics and rumors in mid May. Not that far away since March is basically done, and we are sitting at the beginning of April.
Please remember that this is a rumor, salt is always required.
via an anonymous source I have it on good Authority that Codex Space Marines will be the June release this year. Eldar will follow them. There is also a "Mystery Box" slated for September/October (ala Space hulk). GW have 2 which they have waiting in the wings, Blood Bowl and Warhammer Quest but no idea which it will be at this time.
Warhammer wise, I was told what was coming out and in which order, but to be honest I forget as I dont play the game. But I do know that Lizardmen and High Elves are this year.

| Space Marines...Rumor Check
originally posted by Naftka:
One of our long time sources that likes to make sure we don't stray too far off course has checked in on yesterday's rumor that Space Marines are next for June. Well it was simple, short and sweet what he said, so no going into any long details.
"Space Marines are not after Tau".
Personally I am not going to disagree with these sources. Do I want Eldar sooner rather than later? yes, but none of these rumor sources is changing the time frame of Eldar. Its only Space Marines that are on the stage here.
Hastings word is still canon, our rumor check has an extremely good record. The source of the Space Marine rumor seems to have the credentials, and is a new contact. Will we see Space Marines next? I am here to report what I receive and can dig up, so I will let you decide.

With so many releases, and knowing that we are seeing something big every month coming from Games Workshop, we have been trying to figure out exactly how the rest of 2013 will turn out. Well, Stickmonkey has laid out what he has down as a release schedule for 2013, and it of course correlates with the Hastings line up.
Please note, that I am not doing anything for April's Fools Day. Not really appropriate for this kind of site. unless it was beyond obvious.
Please remember that these are rumors, although they are looking very good at the moment. This list is starting to make a lot of sense from previous rumors.
Of course, I am getting more than a little excited for Eldar.
via Stickmonkey from the Faeit 212 inbox May: High Elves June: Eldar July: Apocalypse August: Lizardmen September: Blood Bowl October: Space Marines November: Dwarves? December: Hobbit January: Tyranids
I had Dwarves a lot sooner than others, so its probably safe to leave a question mark. It could possibly be brettonians or wood elves. Im basing my prediction of Dwarves on where I recall them being design wise, which was right after lizardmen.
I've had multiple confirmations of space marines being the last 40k codex of 2013 and Tyranids being the first codex of 2014.
October is a Black Box release, blood bowl and Warhammer quest have come up, although...it could be something surprisingly different...
When Hastings weighs in, I'd go with his schedule always.

| I think Bretonnia, Wood Elves, and Dwarves will all be done within the next ~ 12 months. GW independent stores aren't going to have to stock knights, or dwarf warriors soon. | |

| Most of you know that I have a tendency to post rumors and what not from my internet excursions, just as a convinence for others who don't check other sites more than anything. But this latest rumor came in my mailbox a while back, but I wasn't sure about it but now that every codex on the list is out but two, it intrigues me so I'm going to share. The source asked to remain anonymous and as always with rumors take with plenty of salt and it's been edited to protect the guilty...I mean innocent. - Quote :
- There is one thing missing from that list of 2013 that will be out sooner than whats stated...
Books seen before...
CSM
Dark Angels
Demons Eldar Orks
Tau
Those are obviously not in order for release. And not to say those will be the next codices. Those are just what somebody "left out"......for models they were working on. This also has a little more insight on GW codex releases which makes sense to some degree in so much as on how we would before only get a few codex' a year and we are getting them every couple of months now. This also colaborates with something else I just read yesterday showing a release schedule for 2014!? Anyways take with plenty of salt. - Quote :
- don't even have a clue as to when the releases are for anything. just know what was seen. It was said...That ALL the codices were finalized and were in the process of getting printed. Hence the issues with the Big Rulebook getting shipped properly, why death from the skies is paperback...
It was also reported seeing the spines of these other books from others that just went to....Why they had Codices there?
don't know how much other than what was seen is true. And...not sure about when the Orks are coming out.

| Here is the latest if you haven't seen it already.
Orks have been in the release order now bouncing along the fringes of our timelines now for several months. There was the chance that they were going to be swapped out with Tyranids either at the end of this year, or the first codex of next year. This rumor gets right to it, and reveals the author of the Ork Codex.
The current thinking is the following Space Marines Tyranids Imperial Guard Orks
Now this is up on the Faeit 212 release order on the tabs at the top of the page, along with more information listed there.
This rumor puts them into next year, and above all else......the author
Please remember that this is a rumor
via an anonymous source (from the Faeit 212 inbox) Matt Ward is the author for the upcoming ork codex. Orks are next year.
