| I know ,your probly thinking, board games suck, and they do compared to the awesome table top games like 40- K,and AT-43.
I was just wondering what other like to play, and maybe some of us,could get a board game night once every coulple of weeks or once a month.
I own the Game Desent, and a expansion,The World of Darkness.Desent is a awesome tile built game, with pre-built missions. It boils down to one Overlord, and Heros.Heros play the roll of going into dungeuns and caves to retrieve certain stuff for the king or whomever.
Its a slower style game, with tons of stategey, and real cool looking figures, which most of them including the chacters(heros)(monstersw/names),are painted by myself.
I also own a game called HYBRID,which also takes place in a labratory and takes place,I think somwhere in Arkalash. If you play this, you would also need Griffin figures.I play the DIRZ.
Anyone interested in a boardgame in the near future?

| settlers is an awesome game. I just got Talisman and War of the ring for Christmas. I have always been a big boardgaming fan and own 30 or 40 of them. Anything from Family Business up to Wizard's quest in complication levels. | |

| Yeah Zombies is cool, has to be played with people that know the game though. Otherwise it can be a bit easy to win.
Settlers is good because of its simplicity... it's easy to learn but very deep after the fact. Games also play pretty quickly when everyone is new.

Easily one of the top 5 GW games I'll look at what I got, I have Bloodbowl and the expansion Deathzone. As far as teams, I know for sure I have Human team(Griff,Zug, Morg N' Thorg) Orks(Varog Ghoulchewer,Ripper Bolgrot, and all the crazy Grots) Undead (Vampire and Tut-en-whatever) Dwarf Team with 3 Deathrollers, Chaos (Lord Barok, 2 or 3 Mutants and Blackhoof Longhorn) I also have the Dungeon Bowl Expansion, but it sucks.

| Oh and btw everyone, the blood bowl rules are free on the GW specialist game site. www.specialist-games.com/ It is somewhere between a board game and a mini game. Mike has a nice collection, but the gw plastics/metals could easily be converted into blood bowl minis. Which is nice as the original minis are harder to find nowadays. | |

| I demoed it at PAX, pretty decent. But nothing special. One of those games that falls in that inbetween again, but seems to take itself too seriously without any real depth. | |

| Thats cool,I built that whole sub-division when I was yunger.I run heavy equipment.I dug every lake out there.
I shaped alot of the mounds out there along the roadside. I used to fish a great farm pond on that property, many years ago.
Back on topic,How about those rules?
