March Pledge

So below is the current state of all sorts of WiPs going on and I need to get these moving. I meant to do this earlier in the month so I'm off to a late start. My goal is to complete the following this month...

10 Dark Elf Warriors
10 Dark Elf Dark Riders
2 White Scars Land Speeders
3 White Scars Attack Bikes
10 White Scars Assault Marines
21 White Scars Bikes
One Tyranid Barbed Hierodule

...so I'll just add to this thread instead of all the older three or four threads started and forgotten.

While I'm hopeful I can crump these out that would only get me to about half of what I need to have done
(ie Chaos Marines, Tyranids to join the big guy, High Elves, yada yada)

I'll jump on the band wagon with you brother!!

I pledge to have by BA army built and primed....figures and vehicle's needing it of course.....and have at least my Tau Pirahna's (6 of 'em) painted by the end of the month.

I'll join here too

I pledge to have my 20 new IG troopers (with Pig Iron heads ) done, as well as the Lamon Russ, the final touchups on the first 26 IG I have, my Engineseer, 3 Heavy Weapons teams, Gothic Ruins, and approximately 20 SMs done this month!

I'll go ahead and pledge 10 terminators. I already started 4 of them, but I started last Friday... so that means it was March

Oh and if I get to him I'd like to do my Librarian in Terminator armor (who I doubt will even be used for 6-7 years...or until they make him worth it).

I'll have pics tomorrow.

A fair amount of models to be painted it seems.

Lets get some before pics so we can all see the progress (or lack of )

A pledge works by actually pledging a specific set of models. So try work out what you want to tackle. Also, pictures are always good.

Bruce if you have trouble with the photo taking, as someone like Danny to give you a run through.

As small as they are on base...I'd go blind after finishing!

Just has the following done so far:

4 of them are at this stage

-undercoat
- 1 layer of graveyard earth
- 2 layers of bleached bone
- basic metals

1 of them is at

- 1 layer of graveyard earth

4 of them are just undercoated

And lastly my test marine from about 3 years ago.

The apothecaries arm is mostly done, I'll try get an uber close up on that when i set up some lighting over the weekend. I'm quite proud of the way it turned out.

I now have to touch up the bone, give the bone a wash of brown, do the skins (take forevvvvver) the brown-red-pink of the boltguns and black wash the metals. Then lastly, the bases. + tiny details (seals rivets etc)

Also visible is the terminator librarian in pieces.

Oh, and i thought I would mention.... I LOVE the "Magic Ink" that the Warstore sells!! Especially the brown (the face on the one pig iron head I used that on after I based in Tallarn Flesh) and the yellow cloth that's inked.

The urban bases look good marc. Nice contrast to the white.

Man bojes your faces look tons better. Huge improvement in your flesh painting man. Kudos!

PS: The pre-paints for confrontation are pretty sub-par imo
